Shared or dedicated?
Section titled “Shared or dedicated?”Choose a shared receiver when the sender can use an authenticated HTTP or OTLP path. Choose a dedicated receiver when the native wire protocol cannot carry a secure receiver identity.
Dedicated ports are plan-limited and not available on Free accounts. Wait for the endpoint to become active before configuring a sender.
