Usage
The Usage page shows stored events and bytes for the current monthly UTC period, plus resource use against the active plan limits.
What counts
Section titled “What counts”A durable queue acknowledgement means the event was accepted for processing. Stored usage is counted only after ClickHouse confirms the log and its content-free usage record.
Public APIs and the product show stored usage, not temporary reservations or queued envelopes.
What the page shows
Section titled “What the page shows”- current-period stored events and bytes;
- remaining capacity;
- event, dedicated-port, and native-source limits;
- daily usage across the current retention window;
- current-period breakdowns by receiver and native source.
Today means since 00:00 UTC. An unavailable metrics read is shown as unavailable, never as zero.
Retention
Section titled “Retention”Retention begins at stored time and expires at UTC midnight after every promised full day. Expired rows do not return even if physical cleanup finishes later.
There is no launch usage overage. When a hard plan limit is reached, Fluxtail rejects new traffic instead of creating an extra charge.
